  • Own backend delivery, release lifecycle (biweekly), and production monitoring for a voyage-optimization platform across a multi-service architecture including route generation, PDF generation, and a DB sync service.
  • Designed and shipped a real-time alerting platform end-to-end: pluggable handler registry, alert lifecycle management, SSE delivery with DB-polling and retry, Kafka producer→consumer→email via Microsoft Graph, and configurable per-user thresholds.
  • Designed a multi-layered algorithm for detecting passed/skipped route points using distance-comparison heuristics, route alignment, and geometric projection fallback — significantly reducing false positives.
  • Owned a geospatial feature epic (~30 stories): interactive polygon zone management with coordinate validation, overlap detection, and archival lifecycle with dependency guards.
  • Rebuilt an acquired claims platform from scratch — designed architecture, built auth (Microsoft SSO, JWT rotation), core calculation engine, WebSocket-based file upload with S3 signed URLs, and an ETL service (cron-based API polling, CSV transformation, automated draft generation). Empty repo to production in 6 months.
  • Rolled out SonarQube with Jest coverage gates across 5 services. Introduced unit testing from scratch with dependency injection patterns.
  • Fixed a production memory leak via compression-enabled caching with TTL tuning; resolved DB connection-pool exhaustion; moved API tokens from client to server-side brokers with domain restriction and CSP headers.
  • Delivered 197 tickets and 1,000+ commits across 10 services; authored 19 engineering docs including org-wide API testability standards.
